At Satya Counseling, we specialize in helping adults recover from trauma, abuse anxietydepression, and grief. We work extensively with creative adults and the LGBTQ+ community, and provide traditional talk therapy as well as art therapy.

The DBT Skills Group at Satya Counseling gives individuals the chance to work with others and is ideal for people who have trouble managing overwhelming emotions, struggle with impulsive behaviors/actions, experience chaotic relationships, and want to build healthy relationships and boundaries.

Our Locations

In-Person Therapy

We offer in-person sessions to fully-vaccinated individuals. Our office is conveniently located in Jefferson Park. Parking and easy access to the CTA are available.

 

Virtual Therapy

Virtual sessions are available for individual and couples counseling in Chicago and throughout Illinois. 

 

What Does “Satya” Mean?

Satya is the Sanskrit word for truth and is one of the major tenets of yoga. For us, Satya means helping you find your truer self through evidence-based techniques and practices. It means teaching you how to get unstuck and live the life you’re supposed to live. It means helping you learn how to honor yourself and find your path to brightness.
